Experience with UXR tools and methods
Throughout my time at Boise State University and UXR courses, I acquired various skills. I have applied many UXR tools to real world situations.
Personas
Personas are focused on the identity and personality of the user. A persona gives a designer a specific user to understand and create a product for. It helps designers design a product for a user that fits within their needs.
In this case, I used myself as the user and created a portfolio based on my experience.
Customer Journey Map
This is a common tool used within UX because it provides a timeline of user experiences. Additionally, a CJM contains emotions throughout the experience that are needed to understand how the user is feeling throughout the process.
